Pauselet support
Email support@myaccessibility.ai. Bugs and feature requests go to the issue tracker. Pauselet is open source and the issues are public, so leave out anything you would not want on a public page.
Common questions
- Normal and Important reminders show as a card inside the app instead of a notification.
- Notifications were declined, or on the Mac the build you are running is not notarised. Allow notifications in System Settings on the Mac, or Settings on iPhone and Windows, and Pauselet switches back to system notifications by itself. Nothing is dropped in the meantime.
- A Critical reminder on iPhone arrived as a notification, not an alarm.
- The Alarms permission was declined, so Critical reminders fell back to time-sensitive notifications. Allow it in Settings → Pauselet.
- Where is my data?
-
One JSON file. On the Mac it is at:
~/Library/Application Support/Pauselet/data.jsonThe Mac App Store build keeps it inside
~/Library/Containers/. On Windows it is at:%LOCALAPPDATA%\Pauselet\data.jsonOn iPhone and iPad it sits inside the app's container and is included in your device backup. It is the same format everywhere, so it can be copied between a Mac and a Windows machine. The privacy policy has the full account of what is in it.
- Interpret with AI does not appear.
- It appears only after an OpenAI key is added, in Preferences on the Mac or Settings → Exercise Import on iPhone and Windows. Read Text needs no key and is always there.
